Profile

Wendy has trained tutors at a major NZ Polytechnic for 7 years and currently works with businesses and tertiary institutions in the area of workplace learning by training coaches, mentors and workplace assessors.

She has worked with teams and organisations throughout Australasia and is a regular presenter at international conferences including the American Society for Training & Development, the European Mentoring & Coaching Council and the Australian Institute of Training & Development.

Wendy has extensive facilitation and training experience in the business and educational sectors.  As well as her role as director and trainer for QED Associates, Wendy is a senior lecturer in the School of Education at UNITEC Institute of Technology where she teaches on an Adult Education Graduate Diploma Programme. She has worked at all levels of organisations across many sectors including culturally diverse groups from a range of Asian countries including Thailand, Malaysia and China. She has designed and facilitated leadership and learning processes including mentoring and coaching programmes for clients ranging from agribusiness and engineering professionals to corporate banking institutions, the NZ Police and the Royal NZ Air Force.

Wendy draws on this varied background to provide interactive and practical learning experiences and is a frequent presenter at conferences in NZ, UK and USA.
