Delivering and evaluating training


Part 2 of Train the Trainers which focuses on lesson delivery and evaluation. Learn how to:

  • cater for different learning styles and cultures
  • use different teaching/learning methods to deliver interesting training sessions
  • use different evaluation methods to get learner feedback

Dates: Thursday 14 June & Friday 15 June
Times: 9.00-4.30
Cost: $550 + GST per participant. $490 + GST if more than 3 participants from the same organisation.

Christchurch

Assessing Performance

A 2 day course for teachers/trainers who need a key qualification in assessment design and practice. The course focuses on creating and planning assessments and collecting evidence in order to make sound assessment decisions. The course covers unit standards 11552, 11281 and 4098.

Dates: Wednesday 27 & Thursday 28 June
Times: 9.00-4.30

Funding for Programmes

Revised reinvestment criteria

PTES seeking funding for their programmes in 2008 should note the revisions that have been made to the reinvestment template.

The key revision relates to D1: Point of Difference. PTEs will need to show how a particular qualification reflects the specialist provision of their PTE and contributes to a network of provision at local, regional and national levels.

The deadline for reinvestment applications is June 8.

Tertiary eLearning Research Fund 2007/8

Applications are being called for this year’s Tertiary eLearning Research Fund (TeLRF).

This fund is an ongoing contestable fund for sector-based research into the current context and future impact of elearning in New Zealand.

Applications close on Monday 2 July.
