QED Training Courses
Here’s our programme of training courses from now to the middle of May.
There are still places available on both the Auckland and Wellington courses.
Auckland
Planning and preparing for training
A must for teachers/trainers new to teaching adults and the first step towards getting the National Certificate in Adult Education & Training.
Learn how to:
- Recognise and write sound learning outcomes
- Devise interesting and effective lesson plans
Dates: Monday 30 April & Tuesday 1 May
Times: 9.00-4.30
Cost: $550 + GST per participant. $490 + GST if more than 3 participants from the same organisation.
Preparing for audit
Do you want the best possible outcome from your NZQA audit?
This half day workshop will focus on:
- Planning review and internal audit processes
- Gathering evidence of organisational performance
- Presenting evidence of compliance in a user friendly way

Cost: $270 + GST per participant. $240 + GST if more than 3 participants from the same organisation.

Wellington
Strategic Relevance & Funding
A repeat of Nikki Benfell’s highly successful Auckland workshop. Don’t miss this one!
This half day workshop will focus on:
- Accessing information on national/local skills shortages
- Developing programmes in line with skills needs
- Reinvestment applications: evidence required and timeframe

Assessing Performance
A 2 day course for teachers/trainers who need a key qualification in assessment design and practice. The course focuses on creating and planning assessments and collecting evidence in order to make sound assessment decisions. The course covers unit standards 11552, 11281 and 4098.
Dates: Tuesday 15 & Wednesday 16 May
Times: 9.00-4.30
Cost: $550 + GST per participant. $490 + GST if more than 3 participants from the same organisation.
